IOS Impulse Oscillometry
Tidal breathing analysis with Impulse Oscillometry (IOS) has demonstrated to be informative and differentiated in the early detection and follow up of pulmonary diseases like asthma, COPD and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. IOS is almost independent of patient cooperation and can test a larger patient range than spirometry alone, from children to adult to geriatric patients.
IOS is available as a stand-alone device combined with a spirometry measurement program (MasterScreen IOS and Vyntus IOS) or as an add-on module to the MasterScreen series.
The oscillations of the multi- frequency measurement signal penetrate the respiration tract at varying depths. Whereas 20 Hz signals are absorbed (shunted) in the large airways, 5 Hz oscillations penetrate the entire lung. Thus, the respiratory resistance Rrs of the large airways can be differentiated from the lung reactance Xrs of the small airways.

Sentec Digital Monitor (SDM) with activated PO2 channel for tcPCO2, tcPO2, SpO2, PR and HP monitoring
The Sentec Digital Monitoring System with PO2 (SDMS-PO2) provides continuous and non-invasive real-time monitoring of ventilation (tcPCO2), oxygenation (tcPO2) and Heating Power (HP) for neonatal patients. In pediatric / adult patients, the system can be used for tcPCO2, tcPO2, SpOI2, Pulse Rate, Pulsation Index (PI) and HP monitoring.
Transcutaneous monitoring (TCM) provides clinicians with greater insight to quickly identify trends, rapidly and accurately assess patient status, and make more well-informed, timely care decisions.

Meeting the needs of medical staff and patients
The Vivo 55 is an advanced homecare ventilator designed to deliver secure and comfortable treatment to patients from 10 kg. The Vivo 55 can be used for a wide variety of patients, both life-support and non life-support, thanks to a comprehensive set of modes, circuits and accessories.
The Vivo 55 is designed to meet the needs both of medical staff and a wide range of patients. It combines comfortable and controllable ventilation with excellent monitoring capabilities to potentially reduce readmissions to acute care facilities. The extensive monitoring capabilities help obtain a better insight into the quality of ventilation. The Vivo 55 is an excellent choice for mechanical ventilation at home, in the hospital and in long-term care facilities. The Vivo 55 is prepared for connection to Breas cloud solutions.

Portable hospital spirometer
AioCare is a professional system to monitor and treat pulmonary diseases, consisting of a portable hospital-grade spirometer connected to a smartphone app and an online panel to access the results. The device enables a full spirometry test to be conducted in a doctor’s office, including a bronchial challenge workflow. If monitoring needs to go beyond the healthcare system, AioCare may be used for patients at home.

Medisorb™ CO2 Absorbent
The Medisorb™ CO2 absorbent product line supports GE Healthcare anesthesia machines. Available in a wide range of sizes and styles, it is specifically designed to help change out absorbers simply. It is also available in a low-alkaline formulation, Medisorb™ EF.
As Medisorb™ soda lime becomes exhausted, it changes colour from white to violet. With the Medisorb™ EF EX, this colour change is longer lasting, thus helping to identify previously used absorbent. The Medisorb™ EF EX will also turn violet if desiccated. Note: Colour indication is not a definitive guide to remaining absorbent life and should always be used in conjunction with CO2 monitoring.
